Client Overview

Astro does the complicated, headache-inducing work of cybersecurity compliance so B2B SaaS companies don't get sued into oblivion. Think SOC 2, ISO 27001, all the scary acronyms that keep founders up at night. They’re brilliant at what they do. But their website was a digital ghost town: two pages of outdated, unscalable code that scared away leads faster than a data breach.

Challenges

Here’s the uncomfortable truth: you can't put a jet engine on a rusty bicycle. Astro came to us for one thing: lead gen through SEO. But we quickly realized that driving traffic to their existing website would be like inviting people to a party in a condemned building.

  • The "Just SEO" Fallacy. The client wanted more organic traffic. But the bigger issue was that even if users found it, the outdated design could make them leave instantly. Beyond simply driving traffic, our primary focus was securing the client’s buy-in.
  • Development on a Knife's Edge. To keep budgets tight, we agreed to build on a pre-existing Webflow template. Hot take: we had to dig through someone else's code, fix hidden bugs, and build workarounds on the fly, all while making it look seamless.
  • Radical Transparency (Or How Our PM Became a Pen Pal). The client needed more than just weekly check-ins. They wanted a live feed of our progress. Success on this project required a dual focus: rapid development and high-touch client partnership. We delivered the full website in 5 weeks, while our project manager acted as a dedicated account manager, providing three detailed weekly reports to maintain full transparency.

The client needed a full strategic and technical overhaul, executed at speed. We convinced them to ditch the old website and go all-in on a strategy-led Webflow build.

1. Strategy First. Always.

Before a single line of code was written, we built the entire blueprint. We dove deep into buyer personas, ICP, competitive analysis, and keyword research, clustering content around what their customers actually search for. We mapped out their entire customer journey. We even gave them a data-backed forecast of the leads they could expect. No guesswork. Just strategy.

2. Taming the Webflow Template.

We took a generic template and bent it to our will. It was a technical deep-dive: building a scalable CMS for their services and blog, implementing custom interactions, and ensuring the entire thing was responsive and bug-free. We turned a black box into a high-performance, component-based system ready for growth.

3. The Content Machine.

Astro didn't have copywriters. No problem. We became their outsourced content team. We developed hyper-detailed SEO briefs (the kind that make writers weep with joy) and managed a team of freelance writers to produce expert-level content for their service pages and blog. Our solution was a fully-managed content pipeline: a strategic system that does far more than just generate keywords.
