Client Overview
Meet Aware Technologies. They’re an all-in-one LinkedIn management tool for the platform’s power users: creators, sales teams, and the agencies that serve them. They found us where they live and breathe, on LinkedIn.
Their moment of truth arrived with a classic “good problem to have”: they had just acquired a competitor, Inlytics. Now they were two companies in one, with two websites, two sets of content, and one big headache. They came to us for a digital unification.
Challenges
The brief from Aware’s co-founder, Alex Boyd, was deceptively simple: merge the content from useaware.co and inlytics.io, rebrand it all under Aware’s cool teal banner, and build it on Webflow. The catch? They needed it done in 3-6 weeks on a budget of a “few thousand ideally.”
A Kingdom Built on Quicksand.
Their existing Aware website was already on Webflow, which should have been a head start. Instead, it was a liability. As our team discovered, it was a “cryptic, unscalable maze of code.” Adding new pages or features was impossible for their team, turning their primary marketing asset into a growth bottleneck.
The Two-Headed Dragon.
They had two separate digital kingdoms with overlapping content. The mission was “less of creating a whole new website than merging useaware.co into inlytics.io.” We had to perform digital diplomacy: decide which content lived, which died, and how to combine everything into a single, cohesive narrative without destroying their SEO.
“Confident, Modern, Easy”.
Their competitors, Taplio and ShieldApp, set a high bar. The new website had to be a perfect reflection of their product: confident, modern, and easy to navigate. They wanted to stand out, not just fit in. And they specifically requested “slick landing page product graphics” to make their features pop.
The Budget vs. Ambitions.
How do you deliver a custom, multi-page website involving a full rebrand and a complex, two-part content migration on a startup budget and a timeline measured in weeks, not months? That was the core challenge.
The Solution:
When a client needs to get to orbit on a tight budget, you don’t build a Space Shuttle from scratch. You find a proven rocket, bolt on the mission-critical hardware, and fine-tune the engine. That’s exactly what we did.
Our strategy was surgical and pragmatic:
The Fast-Track Template.
We bypassed the lengthy custom design phase. Instead, we presented Aware with a curated selection of best-in-class Webflow templates that aligned with their “Confident, Modern, Easy” vision. They chose their champion, and we moved to the customization phase at lightning speed. This single decision was the key to meeting their budget and timeline.
The Brand Transplant.
This was more than a color swap. We took their core identity, built around a sharp teal color palette and a modern logo, and performed a full brand transplant onto the new website structure. We re-skinned, restructured, and rebuilt components to feel 100% Aware, not like a generic template. We also created the “slick product graphics” they wanted, giving their features a polished, professional look.
The Great Content Unification.
Armed with a sitemap and a gallon of coffee, our team went to work. We audited both websites, cherry-picked the best content, and migrated their entire blog and resource library into a new, clean Webflow CMS.
The SEO Lifeline.
A website merger is an SEO minefield. One wrong step and years of search equity can vanish. We meticulously mapped every old URL from both useaware.co and inlytics.io to their new homes, implementing a fortress of 301 redirects. The goal: ensure users and Google bots landed exactly where they should, preserving traffic and rankings from day one.
The Analytics Backbone.
A website without analytics is a ship without a compass. We wired the new platform with Google Tag Manager and PostHog, giving the Aware team the power to track every click, scroll, and conversion, turning user behavior into actionable data.
