Challenge
Datastory wasn’t a client who needed convincing on what good looked like. Their COO knew exactly what the new site should do for the sales funnel. The problem was capacity. The internal team was already at full load on product work, and every sprint the website got bumped to “next month.”
We came in to absorb the work. Our job was to deliver a site that matched what they would have built themselves if they had three months of free hours. Then hand it over without strings.
The platform decision was made up front. Whatever we built, their team had to be able to update it without calling us back every Tuesday. Webflow was the obvious fit: visual editor for their marketing team, CMS for ongoing content, and no developer in the critical path for normal updates.
We built the entire site on a Webflow component system. Every section a reusable block. Every block documented. The handover was a working component library their marketing team could ship new pages from on day one.
A professional point of entry for a sales funnel doesn’t get to load in four seconds. We built the site lean from the start: optimized assets, no plugin bloat, component architecture tuned for speed. The new site scored 95 on PageSpeed post-launch and started pulling 20% more organic traffic after the migration.
Datastory wanted a vendor that moved in their working channel, not one that ran on calendar invites and weekly decks. Our PM Lina lived in Slack: questions answered same day, design reviews handled inline, blockers surfaced before they became blockers. The whole thing shipped in five weeks because nothing waited.
The last week of the project was the handover. Component library walkthrough, CMS structure docs, how-to-edit guides for the marketing team. The day after launch, Datastory’s team was making edits without us in the room. That was the brief from day one. That was the deliverable.
The team

“The team were really great and super professional. That's the thing that sold us at first, and compared to the other companies who bid for the proejct they really took the time to understand us and work through the proposal to make sure it fit our needs. They understand their market and are great at what they do. It was a really great experience. Thanks Nick, Lina, and Foursets!”
