Adobe XD to Webflow for Teams Whose Approved Design Never Went Live

Your XD file holds the design everyone signed off on. We rebuild it in Webflow as responsive components and CMS collections, and a designer checks each page against the approved artboards before launch. Flowlabs launched on its 30-day deadline with a pixel-perfect Webflow build we developed from its agency's designs.

Adobe XD to Webflow

Adobe XD to Webflow

Adobe XD to Webflow

WHO WE ARE

Foursets has built Webflow sites since 2021. We keep design, Webflow development, and SEO on our own staff, so your approved design stays with one company from file to live site.

Your team approved the design months ago, and it still sits in Adobe XD. Adobe keeps the app in maintenance mode and ships only bug and security fixes. On an Adobe XD to Webflow project, our designers fill the gaps your file leaves. A Webflow developer builds the site, and our SEO specialists set up its technical SEO.

JonnyDo came to us with Figma files from its own designer. We built the site pixel-perfect with a multi-tier Stripe checkout, and JonnyDo launched as a subscription business taking recurring payments.

PROBLEMS > SOLUTION

Common Problems, Uncommon Adobe XD to Webflow Solutions

Challenge

Our approved design sits in a design tool our new freelancer doesn't have.

Our XD file has desktop artboards only, so nobody knows how the pages behave on a phone or on hover.

The last developer rebuilt our design by eye, and the spacing, fonts, and states drifted.

Every new landing page or copy change waits in a developer's queue.

Our last XD build shipped generic markup, no meta tags, and heavy images.

Our Solution

We rebuild the design in Webflow, where your team edits the site in the browser.

Our designers create the missing tablet and mobile views and the states your file skipped, before development starts. Webflow breakpoints then adjust each layout to desktop, tablet, and phone widths.

On our Adobe XD to Webflow builds, a web designer checks your pages against the artboards for layout, spacing, colors, and animations.

We build the page types you ship most as Webflow components and CMS templates, so your marketing team publishes a new page on its own.

Our Webflow builds ship semantic HTML and compressed WebP images, and our SEO specialists add meta tags and schema. Our client websites run with zero Core Web Vitals issues on 100% of their URLs.

WEBFLOW EXPERT & PARTNER

Webflow experts, Premium Partners, and template authors, all in one team

Foursets holds three Webflow credentials: certified Webflow experts since 2019, official Webflow template authors, and a Webflow partner at the Premium tier, the highest level in Webflow's partner program outside of Enterprise. On a mission to become a Webflow Enterprise Partner.

Vetted Webflow expertise

Webflow reviewed our sites before it certified us. Your XD design is built to the same standard.

Priority support

Premium Partners talk to Webflow's partner team directly. If an interaction from your prototype hits a platform limit, we get an answer from them the same day.

Platform depth

Before the build starts, each part of your file gets a planned place in Webflow as a component, a CMS collection, or an interaction.

Our Services

Adobe XD designs rebuilt as a Webflow site your team can edit

We export assets from your XD file and rebuild the layout in Webflow as responsive components. You can't import Adobe XD to Webflow in one step. Webflow ships the Figma to Webflow app for Figma files and no importer for XD. Adobe's guide to exporting design assets describes those assets as the files developers need "to re-create what you designed, using HTML/CSS/JS in a website." XD files hold static designs, plus a prototype if your designer built one. The live site also has to respond to screen widths, clicks, and content your team keeps changing.

(1/14)

Artboards as responsive layouts

Each artboard becomes a layout for phone, tablet, and desktop.

(2/14)

XD components as Webflow components

Buttons, cards, navigation, and other repeated elements become reusable components with hover states, so one edit updates each copy.

(3/14)

Character styles and color swatches as a design system

Your type scale and color swatches become site-wide styles, so typography and colors stay consistent on each new page.

(4/14)

Prototype transitions as Webflow interactions

We rebuild the auto-animate, tap, and hover transitions from your prototype in Webflow's Interactions with GSAP, which needs no plugins.

(5/14)

Optimized image and icon exports

Icons ship as SVG, and images ship as compressed WebP files, each with alt text.

(6/14)

Custom and Adobe fonts

We upload custom fonts or connect Adobe Fonts. Webflow's custom font guide asks owners to check each font's license first.

(7/14)

Repeating content as CMS collections

Blog posts, case studies, team profiles, and jobs become Webflow CMS collections, so dynamic content updates without a code change.

(8/14)

Forms and integrations

We connect your forms to your CRM, wire in analytics, tracking, and scheduling tools, and test them on staging.

(9/14)

Custom code where Webflow stops

When a feature has no native Webflow option, like a pricing calculator or a Stripe checkout, we write custom code.

(10/14)

SEO in the markup

Semantic HTML, a heading structure, meta titles and descriptions, and schema are in place, so each page launches SEO ready.

(11/14)

Accessibility checks

We check key templates against WCAG guidelines, version 2.1 at level AA, for keyboard navigation, focus states, and contrast.

(12/14)

Speed targets

We aim for PageSpeed scores of 90+ on desktop and 75+ on mobile.

(13/14)

Designs for states the file skipped

Our designers cover long headlines, form validation, and error messages, even where no artboard shows them. We test each one before launch.

(14/14)

Editor handover

Your team gets an editor guide, the custom-code map, and a training session before we hand over the site.

Advantages

Why Choose Foursets as Your Adobe XD to Webflow Partner

Whoever builds your site will make the design calls your XD file left open.

Design and build in one pod

Our designers share a full-time pod with the people who build your site. When your file leaves a question open, a designer settles it in your Slack channel.

Missing views get designed first

Desktop-only files and missing states go to our designers before development. Your quote lists them. You see what they add before the build starts.

A site your marketing team runs

Your team gets CMS templates for what it publishes most, from blog posts to landing pages. Datastory's marketing team got how-to-edit guides and a component library walkthrough at handover.

One team from kickoff to retainer

Nick, our founder, runs your discovery call. A project manager, designers, and a Webflow developer build your site. With a retainer or prepaid hours, that team stays on. On a retainer, tasks ship in 48 hours on average.

Full-time staff only

Your XD file, your Webflow project, and your data stay with full-time Foursets employees.

The build in plain view

From kickoff, your team sits in Slack with ours and sees each task in ClickUp. Staging links let you hold each screen up against your artboards before launch.

Get your approved design live and editable in Webflow

Send us the XD file, and we'll audit it for free. You'll see which views are missing and what your fixed quote would cover.

PROCESS

From Adobe XD to Webflow, one dated step at a time

Day labels count from your discovery call. The dates in your fixed quote are the ones we commit to.

DAY 1

Discovery call with Nick

You show Nick, our founder, the XD file and your launch date. He asks which pages matter most and what is still changing.

DAY 3

XD file audit and your fixed quote

We audit artboards, components, missing breakpoints and states, fonts, and prototype flows. A fixed quote follows, and you pick a faithful 1:1 build or a design refresh.

DAY 5

Kickoff and onboarding

We open a ClickUp board and a Slack channel for your team. You send the XD file or cloud access, your fonts, and final copy.

DAY 8

Missing views and states designed

Our designers add the missing tablet and mobile views and states. A file with gaps, or one you'll keep editing, moves into Figma first through a plugin and a manual check.

DAY 14

Components and CMS built

Your Webflow developer builds styles, reusable components, and CMS collections. The build starts on approved templates while later pages are still in the design phase. Staging links follow each page.

DAY 21

Interactions and integrations

Prototype transitions become interactions, and forms, analytics, and your CRM get connected on staging. You leave feedback in Slack or ClickUp.

DAY 25

SEO setup before launch

Our SEO specialists set meta titles, descriptions, and alt text for each page, and schema where it applies. If the new site replaces a live one, we 301-redirect every indexed page whose address changes to its new URL.

DAY 28

QA against your artboards

A web designer checks each page against the approved design. We test the five most common screen sizes per device type in the latest two versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.

DAY 31

Launch and editor training

The site goes live with an editor guide and a training session for your team. After launch, a retainer or prepaid hours keep us in your Slack.

INDUSTRIES

B2B companies we know inside out

We start with the templates, integrations, and checks that fit your company size and industry.
By industry:
Conferences
Speaker and agenda pages pull from the CMS, and your registration tool gets tested on staging.
Construction
Tech companies selling to construction get product pages their sales team can send.
Cybersecurity
Security companies need credibility fast, so trust and compliance templates get the same design QA as the homepage.
E-Commerce
B2B e-commerce teams get product and landing pages, with a Stripe checkout wired in where the site sells.
Fintech
Regulated firms win deals on trust signals, so those pages get a clear structure and schema at launch.
Healthcare
Health tech teams get forms and tracking built with HIPAA in mind and tested on staging.
Tech Companies
Technical teams want a site as sharp as their product, so interactions and custom code go through the same QA as the rest of the site.
Venture Capital
Portfolio pages run on the CMS, so each new investment is one entry.
